Creativity At Any Age

Creativity is all around us. Why is it important to those Over 50? Because we all benefit from creativity no matter what age. People are creative throughout their lives but may shrug it off because it is not presented in a way that is expected.Many think for people to be creative have to be artistic, crafty or have a special talent to be creative. Creativity manifests itself in many different ways from just helping to make something easier, work better or more interesting to finding cures for diseases, new ways of painting that help more people enjoy the activity, singing a song in a new way that make people pay attention, telling stories that holds a persons interest and many, many more ways if we just notice.

 

No matter your political persuasion who would think traffic, police and a political convention would be creative? The SWAT Team from Clayton County Georgia shows how being creative and adding a little fun can re-create the atmosphere of just crossing the street or waiting in traffic.

How to attract more creativity?
1. Notice more of what you think is creative.
2. Write it down so you don't forget.
3. Keep a record of what you do that:
    a. is different from what you usually do
    b. makes things work easier
    c. makes things fun
    d. helps you or other
    e. insert your own criteria
